Traveling From New York City

Poughkeepsie is roughly 70 miles from New York City and can be easily accessed by car or train.

Train Options:

MetroNorth - Trains run approximately every 30 minutes during Peak hours and every hour at Off Peak times. 

Amtrak - There are several trains throughout the day. 

Once at the Poughkeepsie Train Station, it should be easy to get an Uber, Lyft or cab. The train station is 3 - 5 miles from the hotels we've recommended. 

driving From Connecticut and New Jersey

From Hartford, the trip is about 1 hour and 45 minutes and from New Jersey it's between 1 hour and 1.5 hours.

Flying in

For those flying in for the weekend, NYC airports are all about 1 hour and 45 minutes away. If you are flying into Newark, you can take the Amtrak to Poughkeepsie.
